All the crab, lobster, whelks and velvet crabs that are sold in our shop is caught by Roy. Roy has a fishing boat called Chloe II that is berthed in Aberdeen Harbour and he fishes most days (when the weather allows) between the Harbour and Cove Bay. Sustainability is something that we are strong believers in and this carries through to the fishing side of our business too. Roy uses creels for fishing which is a species-selective and environmentally sustainable form of fishing with very little by-catch. Target species are brought to the surface alive and undamaged, meaning that anything undersized  can be returned to the sea.
